SuperFruit Slim Review: Does it work?

Intro: What is it?

SuperFruit Slim is a weight loss pill made with 2 unique fruits for metabolism enhancement, appetite suppression, and more, The company claims that over 43,800 men and women are now using this product.

Their one-month supply formula is meant to help reduce from 3 to 10 pounds. If you purchase 3 of their bottles you get one free, and this is meant for those looking to lose 20 pounds or more. The official website also mentions how customers have lost up to 50 pounds. So is this formula truly that effective? What kinds of results are possible and is it safe? This full SuperFruit Slim review has all the necessary details you need to know.

SuperFruit Slim Ingredients

Acai berry 4:1 Extract African Mango 4:1 Extract Green Tea 4:1 Extract Caffeine 100 mg Panax Ginseng
Coenzyme Q10 Black Pepper Extract Veggie Capsules Magnesium Stearate

Acai Berry Extract: Fruit with a high amount of antioxidants. The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health mentions that this ingredient:

“no definitive scientific evidence… to support the use of acai berry for any health-related purpose”

The company behind SuperFruit Slim mentions how the acai has weight loss and cardiovascular protection properties. However, according to clinical reviews, there’s not enough proof to show whether or not this is true.

Green Tea Extract: One of the most antioxidant rich teas that contains amounts of caffeine. The company adds this ingredient for its reported thermogenic weight loss properties. However, the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health disputes this claim by mentioning how:

“not enough reliable data to determine whether green tea can aid in weight loss”

There have been cases of liver damage from supplement companies who use green tea extract. It can also lead to side effects commonly seen in caffeine.

Caffeine: Common stimulant used to increase energy and metabolism. There’s a total of 100 mg per serving, which is roughly the same amount found in a cup of coffee. This stimulant can cause different effects depending on the person. Possible side effects include:

  • Jitters and tremors.
  • Insomnia, restlessness, and fatigue.
  • Faster heart rate, high blood pressure, and cold sweats.
  • Dehydration.
  • Dependence on stimulants for energy.

When supplementing with caffeine it’s important to watch out intake from things like energy drinks, coffee, tea, and other stimulants. This effect can double and cause unwanted side effects.

Panax Ginseng: Plant used in traditional Asian medicine as a way to improve mood and mental health.  Studies show it isn’t very effective at improving exercise and testosterone.

SuperFruit Slim adds 80 mg per serving, though it’s advised to take at least 200 mg for an effect. It’s unknown if this small quantity will have any effect.

Coenzyme Q10: Molecule found in the body that creates energy. It’s claimed to be effective for weight loss. Examine.com has confirmed this is not true, they mention:

“no evidence that COQ10… is able to induce fat loss or muscle tissue growth”

Therefore, use of this in a weight loss supplement is unnecessary.

SuperFruit Slim Quality Of Ingredients

Though there’s only all-natural ingredients added, some of these have no proven weight los benefits.

Studies show acai, green tea extract, and CoEnzyme q10 aren’t shown to produce weight loss.

Panax Ginseng isn’t added in a high enough amount to lead to a mood boost. Caffeine does have slight effects, but they don’t last long and it can be substituted with a cup of coffee or tea.

The only useful ingredient is African Mango Extract, which is for improving metabolism. Also, black pepper is added to improve the effect of other ingredients. Overall, the majority of these ingredients are either useless for weight loss or potentially dangerous.

The Price and Quality of SuperFruit Slim

One single month long bottle sells for $59.99. The company says this is recommended if you’re looking to lose between 3 to 10 pounds.

This means the daily price is $1.99. Since only 2 of 9 of the ingredients have a possible weight loss benefit, this brand is overpriced.

Weight Loss Claims

One month’s supply is used to reduce between 3 to 10 pounds. Their 3-bottle option comes with a free bottle and it claims to provide 20 pounds or more of weight loss.

Though this is impressive sounding, no proof is ever offered to help back up any of these claims. There’s no clinical studies or science provided to explain exactly how this process works.

The company does add individual clinical studies for each of these ingredients, but the results are not impressive.

The clinical study for acai finished with this:

“further studies are warranted”

This means that what was shown isn’t enough to truly prove it’s a weight loss ingredient.

Another study is cited which talks about the benefits of raspberry ketones, which is odd since this ingredient is not found in SuperFruit Slim. The same issue is with L-Carnitine, this ingredient is not found in their formula but for unknown reasons the company cites a clinical study for it.

No clinical studies are provided for CoEnzyme Q10, panax ginseng or black pepper extract.

There is a study on green tea but this was funded by:

“Health Care Food Research Laboratories, Kao Corporation”

This means there’s a potential bias since this corporation makes green tea extract supplements.

None of these clinical studies support the use of SuperFruit Slim as a whole.

SuperFruit Slim Scam

A website claiming to expose the real truth about this supplement shows up on the front page of Google. It claims to exist so that:

“people can read and write real experiences”

This website only features information about SuperFruit Slim.  It’s clearly biased as the bottom of the website says:

“affiliate or referral links that compensates us for buying a product or service”

Therefore, the owners of the website earn a commission off sales. This makes for biased reviews which are clearly only there to gain a profit. They claim reviews are left by anyone.

They also don’t allow for any new reviews to be left. It’s unclear if the posted reviews are actually real.

The owner of the website says:

“After being scammed by so called free trials, I was… relieved…. to find Superfruit Slim”

The person writing this does not mention whether or not there’s a free trial for this brand as well. In either case, this site is clearly biased and not representative

Business of SuperFruit Slim

Optimum Nutra Inc creates this brand; they can be reached via the following:

Email: cs@superfruitslim.cm

Address: Kanther, 16, Karantokis Building 5th Floor, office 13

Nicosia 1065 Cyprus.

A 60-day from the purchase of this brand is a money back return. However, a $10 fee is applied and customers have to pay for shipping fees.

I couldn’t find any information into the company as far as how they deal with customers. This makes it hard to judge whether or not they operate a legitimate business.

The company makes another supplement that is featured in a review site and both of them are the only recommended products. This means it’s likely that the website is either run by the company, or they pay in order for there to be potentially biased reviews.

Customer Opinions of SuperFruit Slim

Very little reviews are available online. There have only been a few review sties where customers have listed their experience with this brand. Unfortunately, it appears these reviews aren’t real.

This is seen via the high praise that the review has for the item, with only comments from satisfied customers. It’s unlikely that this many people have benefited from this brand.

The review site also has a lot of questionable claims and makes the product seem flawless, even though studies have shown many of the ingredients are either potentially dangerous or not good for weight loss.

Therefore, finding real customer reviews for this brand is not possible at this time.

Conclusion

SuperFruit Slim has a unique marketing strategy and after reviewing it, it was clear what it had to offer:

  • Many of the ingredients aren’t very good: 2 out of 9 of the ingredients have a weight loss benefit. African Mango is effective and so is caffeine. However, the problem with caffeine is that it may cause unwanted side effects. It also only works for a short period, in which the only seen benefit is sleep loss. Other ingredients that haven’t been proven for weight loss include CoEnzyme Q10, green tea extract, acai extract, and panax ginseng. The current research shows that none of these additives are actual fat burners or metabolism boosters.
  • There’s added caffeine: A total of 100 grams of caffeine are added per serving. Though this isn’t a high amount, caffeine should be avoided as a weight loss ingredient. This is because the effects of caffeine are not long lasting. It’s known to limit its benefits to just sleep loss in around a month’s time. Certain people may also be much more sensitive to caffeine, which in turn leads to increased side effects. Caffeine is often a cheap ingredient added to weight loss supplements that does not have effective enough ingredients. The problem with caffeine is that you can’t take it too late in the day, and it’s not a long-term solution for weight loss.
  • They make unproven claims: A one months supply is meant to reduce between 3 to 10 pounds. Though this claim is made, there are no facts to back it up. Nowhere does the company post any clinical studies showing people who have lost this amount of weight. They even make a claim that this brand has super fruits, which are proven to help one lose weight. No studies for this are provided either. Without being able to look at how they reached these conclusions, you’re unable to truly judge this brand. They do add individual clinical studies into a few of these ingredients, but they’re all flawed due to bias and results, which were not impressive. The company also provides clinical studies into ingredients not added to this supplement.
  • The money back return isn’t very good: Once purchased, you get 60 days to return this brand as long as you take it as it’s meant to be used. However, there’s also shipping costs as well as a $10 fee for all returns. So either way you have to spend money to try this product. Usually brands offer a money back guarantee that’s free of any fees. With a fee you owe the company even if you fail to have any benefits, or if you experience side effects. Since there’s no known real reviews on this product online, it’s unknown if the money back guarantee is secure either.
  • No outside information exists about the company: Information into this brand and how the company works is very secretive. The manufacturers don’t add much information about themselves, though they do have some questionable websites that support them. One website entitled SuperFruit Slim Scam.com is actually a website that supports the product. They admit that they earn a commission off of all sales made via the affiliate links. This is a clear bias that makes it impossible to trust this site. There’s also a review site that has rated this product favorably, and they claim there’s no flaws to it. This isn’t true as this product contains ingredients that haven’t been proven to help reduce weight.

SuperFruit Slim doesn’t have much information available, and it’s clear that the manufacturer has biased websites either ran by them, or paid off by the company. The ingredients added aren’t anything that would promote weight loss beyond one potentially damaging stimulant, and one other super fruit.

There’s also a lack of credibility from the claims of weight loss since there’s not any sort of proof. This brand isn’t a very good weight loss supplement judging from the ingredients and overall lack of information.  Far better choices are available from more reputable companies.
